PhD Candidate named DRC Graduate Fellow

/ /

Whitney Lew James has been named as a Graduate Fellow by the editors and board of the Digital Rhetoric Collaborative (DRC). Every year, only six graduate students are selected from across the country to contribute to DRC online publishing and web development.

The DRC is supported by the Gayle Morris Sweetland Center for Writing, the University of Michigan Press, and Michigan Publishing of the University of Michigan Library. Its mission is to provide “a space for shared inquiry into the range of ideas, conversations, and activities that together constitute the work of digital rhetoricians and of the computers and writing community.”

Ms. James is currently Assistant Director of TCU’s Center for Digital Expression.

The DRC Graduate Fellows program has been in place since 2013, and Ms. James is the first from TCU to be appointed to this competitive position. Additional information about the DRC is available at http://www.digitalrhetoriccollaborative.org/.
