The American Council on Education has awarded Melanie Harris a 2017-18 ACE Fellowship. The ACE Fellows Program is the longest-running leadership development program for higher education in the United States.
Harris is one of 46 university leaders selected this year. She is the founding director of African American and Africana Studies and associate professor of religion and ethics at TCU. She has published several books in the areas of environmental ethics, Christian social ethics and inclusive excellence and leadership.
