Language and Culture Fest: The Role of Foreign Language in Globalization

Join the departments of Modern Language Studies and Spanish and Hispanic Studies for the second Language and Culture Fest. This three day festival will take place on October 24-26 across the TCU campus.

The Language and Culture Fest celebrates the role of foreign language in globalization through the exploration of food, music, fashion and culture from across the world. View the full festival schedule here.

The festival will showcase global perspectives from both the local community, and the TCU student body. Students are invited to participate in several events and competitions, including the Poetry & Song Slam, and a photography contest. Former CNN National Correspondent, Susan Candiotti


Susan Candiotti will serve as this year’s keynote speaker. An American journalist and former CNN National correspondent, Ms. Candiotti will speak on the value of foreign language education and how her personal study of Spanish and Italian shaped her personal and professional identities.
