Criminal Justice Students Shine at Annual Conference


This year, TCU’s Criminal Justice students competed at the Southwestern Academy of Criminal Justice’s Annual Conference at the Downtown Sheraton Hotel in Fort Worth. This regional conference hosts several student competitions each year. This is the first year TCU has entered the competitions.

TCU’s team took home the first place trophy in the Undergraduate Quiz Bowl competition, beating out six other teams from the region.

In the Paper Competition, Jennifer King won second place with her research on “The Role of Cognitive and Affective Empathy in Judicial Decision Making”.
