This number unlocked the Lon and Susan Family Foundation challenge gift of $25,000 for reaching 150 individual donors. The funds were designated to support the LCpl. Benjamin W. Schmidt Symposium on War, Conflict, and Society

“AddRan College of Liberal Arts was thrilled to exceed our goal of funds raised and donor participation by our loyal supporters on TCU Gives Day,” said Susan Keating Smith, director of development for AddRan.

Another challenge gift was offered by Lou Black, AddRan Board of Visitors member, and her husband, John, for $10,000.

Overall, TCU Gives raised its second-highest amount ever in its 11-year history. Exceeding its goal of 2,024 participants, TCU attracted 3,066 donors who contributed a total of $1,862,834.
