Faculty Resources

The Faculty and Staff of AddRan College value human diversity and share the belief that everyone has the same right to human dignity — regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, ethnic origin, disability, predisposing genetic information, covered veteran status, and any other basis protected by law along with economic class/social status, professional rank and achievements, and intellectual points of view.  Grounded in this belief, we aim to provide a diverse learning environment in which people of all cultures, backgrounds and experiences can engage, learn, and grow with one another.  We believe that engagement with human diversity opens minds to new perspectives. This has the potential to prepare graduates of our College to work, live, and communicate across differences. Further, there is evidence that engagement with human diversity is associated with improving workplace productivity.

We in AddRan College share a commitment to workplace equity. We aim to encourage professional outcomes that are not predicted by social categories including race and gender. As a result, we strive to institutionalize hiring, promotion, and merit practices that are non-discriminatory and free from biases. We commit to cultivating an inclusive community where persons from a variety of social identities, cultures, backgrounds, ideas, and religious traditions feel welcome and respected. These commitments are exemplified by our efforts to provide a quality holistic education, to promote diversity awareness and acceptance and to cultivate ideals of inclusion in classrooms, offices, boardrooms and across campus and throughout the Fort Worth Community and beyond. These commitments and related efforts are consistent with the aspirations of Texas Christian University.
