Assistant Professor Melissa Reynolds' presentation for the Medieval Academy of America’s Digital Humanities Showcase
Assistant Professor Melissa Reynolds recently gave a presentation as an invited panelist
for one of the Medieval Academy of America’s Digital Humanities Showcase. She spoke
alongside Nicholas Laiacona (Lead Developer, Performant Software) and Pamela Smith
(Seth Low Professor of History, Columbia) about an open-access software the trio is
developing (with funds from an NSF grant) to support the publication of digital editions
of historical sources.
Dr. Reynolds portion of the talk (14:26 to 21:00 or so), describes how she plans to
use the software in the classroom at TCU next year in her new “Technologies of History”
course (HIST 30693).
