Sandra Brown Excellence in Literary Fiction Scholarship

The Sandra Brown Excellence in Literary Fiction Scholarship (ELF), established in 2008, is given to a rising junior who demonstrates academic excellence and significant potential for writing fiction. It provides full tuition for the junior and senior years. Award selection, made through an application process, includes writing a portfolio and students must remain active in TCU's literary culture.

Christine Salmon Gauthier Student Apprenticeship

English and Writing and Rhetoric majors also have the opportunity to apply for the Christine Salmon Gauthier apprenticeship. This paid apprenticeship for junior and senior majors enables them to work directly for the Department of English and its faculty to promote English studies, departmental programs and support for alumni and community outreach.
