Class of 2026
"I chose to major in English because I plan to go to law school and wanted a major that would prepare me for the heavy readings I would encounter. The program has also sharpened my ability to write research papers, essays, and different mediums like poetry. The department offers a unique variety of courses that emphasize discussion and critical thinking. The range of classes I’ve taken has opened my mind to different perspectives and corners of the world, and the program will equip you with skills that are valuable for any field you go into. "
