Study Abroad

Embark on the adventure of a lifetime with TCU Criminal Justice.

Students swing in Amsterdam

Scandinavia

Examine the criminal justice systems in Norway, Denmark and Sweden for two and a half weeks while you earn up to six credit hours in criminal justice and general electives. Activities include a tour of the Halden Prison in Norway, a visit to criminal and appellate courts in Oslo, lectures at the University of Stockholm and Copenhagen, and a tour of Christiana commune in Copenhagen. You’ll have free afternoons to explore each city and immerse yourself in the heritage of Scandinavia.

London

Experience what it’s like to live for 3 weeks in iconic London, a truly global city and the source of revolutionary ideas and events that have shaped social and political life for humankind time and time again. Through site-based learning, students develop a social justice lens for viewing leadership and the pressing challenges we face as global citizens.

Japan

Study Japan’s criminal justice system, culture, heritage and history in TCU-CJ Japan, a three-week program in Tokyo and Kyoto. If taken in tandem with spring course offerings, the program allows students to earn up to a nine hours in criminal justice and general elective credit.
