Latin American Studies

Upon completion of the Latin American Studies program, students will have proficiency in the Spanish language and a working knowledge of the Portuguese language. They will be knowledgeable about major ideas, events and issues in Latin American countries, and will acquire analytical skills developed through the study of literature, history, and other related fields of study

Expand your horizons by studying abroad in more than 50 countries, plus service-learning trips overseas and internships around the globe.

Our curriculum explores diverse dimensions of the Spanish-speaking world, including vocational and experiential learning — literature, health, business, translation, popular culture and more.

Enhance your Major with a Minor
