Dr. Charlotte Hogg (English), featured in TCU This Week, was awarded the Women and Gender Studies’ Claudia V. Camp Faculty Research and Creative Activity Award for 2017-2018.

Dr. Hogg is an associate professor of English at TCU and the Director of Composition. Her work is focused on women and gender. Her awarded research “examines sorority practices… [to understand] how dominant culture is shaped, sustained, and challenged by organizations that impact millions of women throughout college and beyond”. She is planning a public lecture about her scholarship later this year.

The Women and Gender Studies Research and Creative Activity Award is a one-year honorary appointment that recognizes excellence in scholarship and creative activity on women and gender by an affiliated faculty member in Women and Gender Studies at TCU.
