Minor in English, Writing or Creative Writing

A minor from the Department of English is the perfect way to complement any major area of study. To earn a minor in English, writing, or creative writing, students complete a total of 18 semester hours.

Double Majoring or Majoring and Minoring

The English and writing degrees fit together well as a double major (declaring both a major in English and a major in writing), and they also lend themselves to several major-minor combinations (a major in writing or English and a minor in the other, or a major in either with a minor in creative writing), but with three stipulations.
