Why Study the Liberal Arts?

Because the world around us is constantly changing. A liberal arts degree from TCU doesn’t just prepare you for your first job. It prepares you for the rest of your career. You’ll master the professional skills — oral and written communication, critical inquiry, creativity — to adapt to the shifting economy and job opportunities over time.

“An understanding of the liberal arts gives you insight and appreciation for the many challenges the world faces today.”

—Dean Andrew Schoolmaster
